Opening: Garden Party
Please stop by PIFAS Thursday night to view The Garden Party, a temporary photo set located in the not yet named gallery, created by faculty member Constance Mensh.
Garden Party also features a conducive GUS installation.
The temporary installation will be on view by chance or appointment until Saturday May 31, when it will move to the
South Philly Biennial
The GUS installation will remain until the next one TBA.
Light refreshments will be served.

Introduction to Mandarin Chinese
Join Dan Wyche for a brief introduction to Mandarin Chinese. Depending on what time allows, we will be diving into pinyin romanization, tones, radicals and the construction of Chinese characters, and even basic greetings and introductory phrases.
If interest is there, we may continue with further coursework, on another evening.
Starts around 9PM.
Free and open to the public.

This coming Wednesday, Research Professor Dr. Jini Naidoo, Ph.D. will take us through the looking glass into the amazing world of Botany. We plan on starting near 5:30.

International Noise Conference
The Philadelphia Institute for Advanced Study hosts the International Noise Conference, beginning at 7PM and continuing into the evening.
Numerous acts; short in nature.
Donations Welcome
Going away show for Ramsey Arnaoot, who is moving to Syria in May. An electric garden consisting of hundreds of artificial flowers hand-wired with LEDs in an astroturfed room with fabric walls and projections, as well a goodbye mural announcing the show. Special thanks to Luren Jenison, Leslie Salazar, Katrina Ohstrom, and Gavin Riley.
