The Philadelphia Institute for Advanced Study strives to be one of the leading centers for practico-theoretical research and intellectual inquiry in the Delaware Valley. The Institute exists to encourage and support experimental forms of research in the sciences and humanities— the original, often interdisciplinary, thinking that produces advances in knowledge as well as radical transformations in everyday life.
