This commission will investigate life and society in contemporary North Korea, addressing all the philosophical and sociological issues raised by Korean totalitarianism, with its uniquely perverse blend of Orwellian control and oppression.

For the sake of balance and clarity of insight, the commission will pull from as many sources and perspectives as possible, including those of the DPRK.

At the end of our investigation, we will give a report of our findings and theories before the public.
