Textiles

Under this department fall all manner of a wide range of fabric use, such as garment construction, costume design, sculpture, intervention, assemblage, two-dimensional painted works on fabric, screen printing, and photograpy/video of fabricated works. \ The purpose of the department is to share fabrication tools and skills. The holdings of the textiles department include a fully functional screenprinting studio, sewing tools, cutting table, manequins and a revolving cache of fabric and usable garments. /The textile department also organizes clothing swaps and photoshoots.
