Philosophy

In addition to its study of classical philosophical thought, the Richard Rorty Department of Philosophy is also interested in the development of other— more original and vigorous— forms of philosophical activity.

Within the department, you will also find the open, yet highly programmatic, Philosophical Research Group, which is free and open to the public. Those interested in participating in the group may contact either the Departmental Chair or go to the group's homepage for more information.
