Dr. Nathaniel Holt is an Associate Professor at The PIFAS Leibniz Zentrum for German Studies and a Moderator for the PIFAS Poetry Reading Series. Dr. Holt joins The Institute after a brief stint working at the prestigious Video Library of West Philadelphia. His two-piece rapper-band "Rowan & Hastings" have played in concert many times at PIFAS. Also an actor and comedian, his portrayal of Iago in K-Fai Steele's "The Cat-People of Venice" at the October 2007 Residency Opening earned him a P.H.O.N.Y Award.
